Domaine Etienne Delarche is a small family winery found in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses, a small hamlet shadowed by the bulk of Corton hill. Over the course of three generations the Delarches have mastered this little corner of the Côte de Beaune, crafting pure and precise wines with stunning depth of flavour and potential to develop. Les Combottes is a creamy and concentrated Chardonnay from a lieu-dit composed of thirty-years-old vines found between 230-280m and planted on clay and limestone marl. Aged just a year in neutral Burgundy barrels, this is a light and refreshing White Burgundy filled with alluring notes of orchard fruit, lemon zest, and light spice.
