Round with Fine Tannins Red Wine from the Ventoux Region

This wine has an intense deep purple colour with violet reflections. The nose reveals fresh fig and pepper notes mingled with black fruit aromas. The palate is smooth, round, with present yet youthful and fine tannins, giving a supple wine full of fruity, crunchy flavours.

• Blend of 70% Grenache ; 30% Syrah

Food Pairing: Charcuterie, grilled red meat or roasted chicken.

BEHIND THE WINE

The Domaine de Font-Sane has been making wine since 1860. Today, Veronique and Bernard Cunty-Peysson have been perpetuating the wine making know-how handed down from generation to generation . The Domaine de Font-Sane, which overlooks the village of Gigondas, is advantaged by the rich variety of five different soil types: clay-limestone, pebbly, sandy, alluvium, sandy loam producing Gigondas wines that are complex and balanced.
