Made from grapes grown in one of the finest vineyards in Saint-Romain at 400m altitude , this wines is fresh and full of juicy fruit notes of redcurrant , raspberries and cherries. Spicy and smoky notes develop with age adding complexity . On the palate , this wine is beautifully balanced, presenting fine and elegant tannins delivering a wonderful lengthy finish.

About the producer

The Germain family estate was established in 1955 and is located in the heart of the picturesque village St Romain. Whilst this appellation is less known than nearby villages such as Meursault or Chassagne Montrachet, the quality is equally as high but more affordable by Burgundy standards . The winery consists of more than 33 acres including sites in Pommard and Beaune . Arnaud Germain , the grandson of Bernard, vinifies the wines with a view to maximum delicious fruit, laced with a beautiful mineral touch and a beautiful freshness.
