STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Domaine Gouron is a fifth-generation, family-owned estate in the Chinon AOC, founded in the mid-20th century and now spanning 28 hectares across hillside and plateau sites. Its diverse soils – clay-limestone slopes and sandy-gravel plains – enable distinct cuvées emphasising terroir variation. The Gouron brothers, Laurent and Stéphane, practice sustainable viticulture and their wines are aged in tanks or barrels before the bottles are cellared and aged in tuffeau cellars and bottled at the estate.
