STORY BEHIND THE WINE

For three centuries, the Floutier family has been crafting wines with care and dedication, passing down their knowledge from one generation to the next. Just a few kilometers from Uzès and Anduze, at the foot of the Cévennes and near the Pont du Gard, the vineyard stretches across Savignargues d’Aigremont and Lédignan. The clay-limestone soils, generous sunshine, and cool nights create the perfect conditions for grape varieties like Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Grenache Gris to shine. Every plot is vinified separately, allowing each wine to reflect the character and complexity of its origin.

Respect for the land is at the heart of everything they do. Certified High Environmental Value Level 3 and ISO 14001, the estate uses natural methods in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar to protect biodiversity and reduce their impact. From careful vineyard management to traditional winemaking techniques, Domaine Grand Chemin seeks to create wines that are authentic, expressive, and true to the terroir.
