This Chardonnay, hailing from a 2-hectare clay-limestone plot with a south-southwest orientation, offers early-ripening grapes which yield rich, tempting wines. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to retain the freshness and purity of the fruit, it is aged for nine months, resulting in a particularly expressive Saint-Véran. Out of the glass it’s dominated by notes of citrus and white flower, alongside notes of yellow and white fruit paving the way to a smooth finish. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with veal or roast chicken, this wine is best enjoyed young for its fruitiness and freshness, although it can be kept for up to 4-5 years.
