Julien Sunier is a true master of Beaujolais, having spent nigh-on two decades crafting superbly balanced, sensationally sapid wines from three of the region’s greatest Crus. This is his Régnié, a wonderfully light yet solidly built red that delights with its juicy red fruit character and touches of floral aromatics. A shining example of what ‘natural’ wine can be, this is a sophisticated and complex red with just a touch of wildness around the edges.

94/100 – A lively, precise, succulent and energetic gamay. On the nose it exhibits dried raspberries, forest floor, stones and white peppercorns. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and crisp acidity.
