This full-bodied and rich Condrieu comes from Domaine Merlin, one of the Northern Rhône’s finest producers. Founded by the self-taught François – who trained under René Rostaing of Côte-Rôtie fame – the estate is now run by his son, Laurent, who has continued on the same sustainable farming practices and minimal intervention winemaking of his father. Clean, precise, and elegant, this Condrieu was sourced from a sustainably farmed, 40-year old vineyard in which sits the domaine. Loaded with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, and white flowers, this rich yet well balanced white offers one of our favourite tastes of Viognier.
