This Santenay’s name is a French pun on the words “ceriseâ€? meaning “cherryâ€?and “criseâ€?meaning “crisisâ€? There is no crisis when it come to the wine, however â€?it’s a lively red with fragrant floral and cherry notes and a touch of cedar from barrel ageing.
