The nose opens up to notes of lemon-drop, lemon verbena, hay, white tobacco and gun-flint. The oak is soft and sitting in the background. The structure is very sleek with typical apple-skin tannins bringing length, balanced with a fine saltiness. This wine is still very early in it’s life cycle, and some bottle aging will definitely bring up more layers and texture.
