Thomas Morey is one of the Côte de Beaune’s finest winemakers, achieving world-wide renown for his stunning cuvées crafted in the southern corner of the Côte de Beaune. Though best known for his Chardonnays, his Pinot Noirs are defined by their impressive depth and alluring structure. This red is sourced from the acclaimed Les Chanlins vineyard in Pommard, found on steep slopes at the very southern end of the commune. An elevated portion of clay in the soils of this site imparts firm structure, while Thomas’ light touch in the cellar preserves the natural finesse and elegance of the variety.
