Light straw in colour with green hues, it has a nose of pineapple and passion fruit but tightens considerably on the palate, with Chenin’s classic green apple acidity and a delicious stone-fruit bite.

​Former Delheim winemaker Reg Holder struck out on his own in 2017 and in collaboration with viticulturist Etienne Terblanche created the first Dorper Pinotage, bringing modern, sensitive winemaking and Burgundian notions of terroir to South Africa’s native variety, joined in 2020 by a steely, cool Chenin Blanc.
