While Palo Cortado butts are employed for most of the Dos Maderas stable, proprietary VOS PX Sherry ‘botasâ€?are emphasized here, contributing notes of figs, dates, honey, treacle, chocolate, tobacco and leather. Silky and medium sweet, the flavours lose momentum towards the finish where vanillas take over.It may not be quite as decadent as the 100% PX matured ‘Luxusâ€? however Atlantic is perfect for cocktails.
