Dosnon’s Récolte Rose is a spectacular sparkling rosé crafted from 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. Sourced from decades-old vines planted at a number of sites in the Côtes de Bar, the vines grew in soil remarkably similar to that of Chablis, infusing this cuvée with a distinctly Burgundian touch. While Pinot Meunier is not common in this region of Champagne, Davy feels it adds a lovely touch of spice and fruit character to the wine. It was fermented in used Puligny-Montrachet barrels, before ageing sur lies for a further twenty-four months in bottle. A trademark Dosnon wine, expect pure and concentrated flavours of red fruits and organe peel, balanced by a stunning throughline of intense minerality. A step above your standard sparkling rosés, Dosnon’s Récolte Rose is everything one could wish for in a top-quality grower Champagne.
