This magnificent Moulis, always consistent in quality, seduces us with this splendid 2018 vintage. Grown on varied soils, ranging from gravel to clay-limestone, Château Chasse-Spleen benefits from an exceptional terroir. This great wine was aged for 18 months in oak barrels in a semi-underground cellar, giving it depth and elegance. The nose reveals subtle notes of red and black fruits, dried flowers and delicate spicy touches. The whole is perfectly balanced, supported by subtle woody and liquorice notes. Complex, fresh and expressive, this wine reveals a taut structure and tannins that are both powerful and silky.
