Drappier Carte d’Or Brut NV in magnum is a Pinot Noir-dominant Champagne from the Côte des Bar â€?in fact it is almosta blanc de noirs, with 80% of this noble variety, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Meunier. It is rich and vinous in style, with great complexity and power. The grapes are sourced from some chalky vineyards, but also some harder kimmeridgean marl that in the Champagne region is only found in the Côte des Bar.

Drappier are specialists in large format Champagnes, as the only house to conduct secondary fermentation, riddling and disgorgement within each bottle that they produce, from half bottles all the way up to the enormous 30-Litre Melchizedek.
