Eau-de-Vie–Rochelt–Abricot–WoodenCase

The Wachau is one of Austria’s most prestigious wine-growing and fruit-growing regions. Located along the Danube, it benefits from ideal soil and climate conditions for growing exceptional fruit. The apricots used for Rochelt brandy come exclusively from this region and are of the most prized varieties, “Klosterneuburger” and “Ungarische Beste”. They are harvested only when they have reached perfect ripeness. The fruit undergoes natural fermentation, without any additives, before being carefully double distilled in a copper still according to Tyrolean tradition. The resulting spirit is then aged for at least seven years in open glass demijohns, developing exceptional smoothness, sweetness, density and strength, while revealing a wide aromatic palette of perfectly ripe apricot.
