This wine really is a great exhibit of craftsmanship. Allowing the Nero d’Avola to wither on the vine before harvest concentrates the sugars and gives the wine a generous fruit richness. Tempered by Frappato picked at its earliest maturation to give the blend a huge whack of freshness. Unique, interesting, but above all else, delicious.
