Joined by his daughter Clémence, they craft Champagnes of astonishing richness, power and remarkable capacity to age, predominantly from old-vine Pinot Noir grapes across the Grand Cru villages of Ambonnay, Verzenay and Bouzy.Les Vignes de Vrigny is made exclusively from old vines of Meunier, located in the 1er cru village of Vrigny. Bottled in 2022, the cuvée is a blend of 50% 2021 harvest, 30% 2020 harvest, 20% 2019 harvest. Disgorged in 2025. Dosage 2 g/l.93/100 – The NV Champagne Premier Cru Les Vignes De Vrigny Extra Brut (100% Meunier with a 2021 base) is a bright straw color, and the nose is very pure. I love this vintage, which has focus and refinement, with a fine texture, refreshing acidity, and a clean lift on the finish.
