Sans Launched in early 2023, limited bottlings of the Macbeth whisky collection are being revealed over five years, each featuring characters from the play. Benrinnes has been chosen by Elixir’s Oliver Chilton to represent this expression, named ‘Soldierâ€?(part of the household series). The distillery uses a traditional worm tub condenser to produce a full-bodied spirit. This bottling was matured in refill sherry butts and was summed up by one taster as “A beautiful, very well-balanced sherry. A gentle attack that opens with finesse and spicy notes.
