Nestling in the heart of the prestigious Pic-Saint-Loup appellation, in unspoilt natural surroundings, Château La Roque, owned by Sylviane andBertrandBarascud, perfectly expresses the best of this typical terroir. Biodynamically farmed for over 15 years, the vineyard produces wines of rare quality. Only 3,000 bottles of the “En Garde!” cuvée are produced, so this is a confidential cuvée. The vinification is lengthy and the wine is aged for 24 months in demi-muids, without filtration. On the palate, the wine is silky with a fine tannic structure and complex notes of roasting and tobacco. Drink now or age for 8 to 15 years if you’re patient!
