Situated in the heart of Les Greffieux at the foot of the Hermitage hill. This terroir consists of a terrace of glacial alluvium composed of pebbles and clay. The pebbles in the soil radiate heat and give concentration and structure to this Hermitage. The uniqueness of this terroir gives the wine incomparable finesse and aromatic richness. The deep, complex nose reveals aromas of wild berries, aromatic herbs and raw meat. On the palate, the wine is incredibly concentrated, with a compact structure and exceptional stony minerality. The finish is remarkably long and bright, with a wild herb character. This vintage is a perfect match for a leg of lamb roasted with Provençal herbs, accompanied by grilled root vegetables. The wine’s finesse and complexity will perfectly underline the rich, aromatic flavours of your dishes.
