The intense, powerful nose opens with notes of black berries, dominated by blackberries, blackcurrants and black cherries. It evolves towards aromas of black pepper, cedar, vanilla, caramel and roasted hazelnuts. The palate is complex and concentrated, with a pleasant feel thanks to a tannic structure that is present but mellow and well-integrated. The palate is naturally fresh, with notes of blackberries, oriental spices and a touch of toffee. The finish is long and persistent, offering excellent ageing potential.
