L’Esprit de Font Caude is the estate’sbenchmarkwine and also its oldest. It is made from equal partsSyrahand Mourvèdre with a touch ofGrenache , and has benefited from a long ageing period of 36 months, 24 of which are spent in French oak barrels. This wine has an incredible personality, perfectly expressing its terroir with aromas of thyme and wild red fruit and refreshing acidity. The highlight is the perfectly integrated tannins, which have been given a patina by the subtly measured ageing process.
