Grown on south andsouth-westfacing vineyards on schist and laterite soils, this wine is carefully crafted and then aged for 10 months in French oak barrels (30% new). This 2024 vintage offers a rich aromatic palette blending plum, blackberry, violet and chocolate, with a fresh and spicy touch of fennel and dried oregano. On the palate, there is a beautiful fruity intensity balanced by an umami character, creamy tannins and elegant acidity. Notes of Turkish delight and sweet spices reflect the influence of the cool, maritime climate. Although designed to be enjoyed now, the 2024 vintage will age gracefully and reveal even more varietal charm in the years to come, pairing equally well with savoury and sweet dishes.
