STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castillo was founded in the 1960s but was purchased and revamped in 1999 to become one of the most interesting and highest quality bodegas in the Jerez D.O. The Antique series of sherries is a collection of old and rare wines drawn from individual soleras bottled without fining or filtration to ensure maximum purity and character.This Amontillado is aged under flor for 5 years followed by an extensive oxidative maturation, giving an average age of over 20 years.
