The “vino de Paraje ” Finca Luna Beberide 2022 was made from Mencía vines aged at least 60 years old, from Valdetruchas, in Villafranca del Bierzo, on clay and schist soils at an altitude of 700 metres on clay-limestone soils, which give the wine body and elegance. It was aged in 225- and 500-litre French oak barrels for eight months. Its varietal profile evokes wild berries and aromatic herbs, with a floral and fragrant nose. It offers an elegant and medium-bodied palate, with fine tannins and balanced acidity. The wine opens slowly and finishes with a very long floral finish and silky tannins. A wonderful discovery!
