Bright ruby in colour. On the nose, aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and red cherry leap out of the glass. On the palate, fine-grained tannins provide structure and a mouthwatering acidity carries the bright red fruit aromas onto the crisp finish. A wonderfully approachable Beaujolais.

All of the grapes were hand harvested. Frédéric follows a policy of minimal intervention in his winemaking and uses only indigenous yeasts. The 2023 ‘Gamay Noirâ€?was made using 100% whole bunch and semi-carbonic maceration with fermentation in stainless-steel tanks lasting for around 5 days. Following fermentation, the wine was aged for around six months in concrete vats prior to bottling.
