STORY BEHIND THE WINE

Planted in 2016 on a 0.40-hectare plot in the prestigious Cannubi subzone, this vineyard thrives on calcareous–clay soils with a sandier structure, providing ideal conditions for Nebbiolo to express its elegance and freshness.

The grapes are vinified with 15–20 days of skin-contact fermentation in vitrified cement tanks, a technique that enhances the varietal character of Nebbiolo while preserving the bright, youthful freshness of the fruit from these younger vines. Refinement in medium-capacity Slavonian oak barrels ensures a harmonious balance, maintaining vibrancy and finesse while adding subtle complexity.
