A leader in the Moldavian wine industry, and with two centuries of history behind it, Château Purcari is offering this limited edition Freedom Blend. “the wine of all those who will never again be slaves, the wine of freedom”. This cuvée was created in 2011, when Moldavia, Georgia and Ukraine celebrated 20 years of independence. It is a blend of 3 grape varieties emblematic of these three countries. Rar? Neagr? for Moldavia, Saperavi for Georgia, and Bastardo for Ukraine. On the nose, thewine offersfresh notes of sweet fruit, blackcurrants, morello cherries and blueberries. There are also subtle aromas of vanilla, red pepper and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, velvety and fruity, with notes of plums and spices.
