Bodegas Monfil is run by the Mateos Family, who come from three generations of winemakers. It was set up in 1943 by Victor Mateo and since that the time the family continue to strive for quality.The Monfil name is the surname of the great grandmother of the current generation of winemakers at this bodega (Carmen Monfil). Carmen’s family owned large vineyards in Cariñena.

The current generation of three Mateos brothers work in the wine cellar
