The Monfil name is the surname of the great grandmother (Carmen Monfil) of the current generation running the winery Carmen’s family owned large vineyards in Cariñena (North East Spain)

Bodegas Monfil is run by the Mateos Family, who come from three generations of winemakers. It was set up in 1943 by Victor Mateo and since that the time the family continue to strive for quality.
