More than 50 years ago, founder David S. Stare was the first person to plantSauvignonBlanc in the Sonoma County appellation. Inspired by the classicLoireValley wines ofFrance , Le Fumé Blanc is crisp, balanced and immediately drinkable. This 2023 exudes classic Dry Creek Vineyard house style. Aromas of lemon, lime and grapefruit burst from the glass, with both fruity and floral nuances of tangerine, mango, honeysuckle and geranium. The palate is intense and luminous with passion fruit, peach and cucumber. Underlying minerality and notes of lemongrass, parsley and ginger contribute to the wine’s refreshing, lively finish.
