Complex and Elegant Supertuscan

Promis is a wine of complexity and undeniable elegance. Its nose is rich and concentrated, offering notes of blueberry, licorice, and cocoa. It begins with a fresh profile, gradually revealing balsamic nuances and hints of graphite, eventually softening into more mellow characteristics with touches of rhubarb and menthol. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with fine-grained, silky tannins leading to a smooth finish.

• Blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, and 10% Sangiovese
• 12 months of oak aging

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

This wine is made by Angelo Gaja. Promis was created by the family with the promise of quality. The grapes are grown on rich, dark soils giving structured, voluptuous wines.Blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, and 10% Sangiovese. Each variety undergoes separate fermentation and maceration for approximately 15 days, followed by 12 months of oak aging before being blended together.
