Pale golden hew shines from the glass. The nose hints at delicious old school Aussie Chardy with rich butter and vanilla essence, The palate is rich and weighty with a gunpowder note, The richness is balanced by a crisp, refreshing acidity, A dollop of freshly popped corn and toffee apple on the finish rounds everything off superbly well. Is it a stretch to say Western Australia meets Puligny-Montrachet here? We don’t think so.
