The white Génépi is a flower found in the Alps from over 2,000 metres above sea level. This plant has always been used by mountaineers and is recognised for its light and tonic effects. Today its harvesting in the wild is regulated and limited. The artisan Lachanenche distillery therefore cultivates it in the heights of the Ubaye Valley. This spirit, with no additives or dyes, can be consumed as an after-dinner liqueur, as a cocktail or even as a well-iced sorbet!
