Elegant Nebbiolo from Langhe

The colour is a deep ruby red with garnet reflections and an intense and fruity bouquet of plum and cherry. The flavour is dry with good body, well balanced tannins and harmonious with hints of liquorice and rose.

• Aged 6 months in large Slavonia oak barrels

Cellaring: Drink now to 2032Food Pairing : Delicious with roast or grilled red meats, mushroom-based dishes, especially risotto ai funghi (mushroom risotto) or firm, aged Italian cheeses | ?️ Serve between 12°C to 16°C

STORY BEHIND THE WINE

This beautiful family estate founded in 1864 and located in the heart of the Barolo wine , now run by Claudio Fenocchio and his young family. Long post-fermentation times counter-intuitively leading to smoother more elegant and accessible wines. Although not yet certified as organic, the winery are participating in the European project that encourages sustainable agriculture and they follow agricultural practices passed down through generations.
