Givry Domaine Davanture is a beautifully balanced, elegant Burgundy with a fragrant nose and silky smooth texture in the mouth. Red fruit flavours are complemented by lovely acidity and fine tannins.

The Davanture family have been working the vineyards of the Cote Chalonnaise for four centuries and have lived in the village of Saint-Desert since the end of the nineteenth century. In the late 1990’s they purchased vines in the Givry appellation and again in 2010 in the Mercurey appellation to diversify their production. The current generation of winemakers are the three brothers Eric, Damien and Xavier.
