Sans First released September 2004, this is another welcome addition to the Glengoyne stable. Distilled from air-dried barley without peatsmoke, and using the soft, pure local water, this whisky isbottled unchill-filtered at cask strength to preserve its naturalflavours.

Tasting note: Nose: the sulphur that has been mentioned in previous bottlings of this has returned but in such tiny amounts it doesn’t detract from the enjoyment…yet.Need to keep an eye open that it doesn’t get any worse, though, as it would be a shame to see quite a lovely whisky undermined.57.2% Alc./Vol. Rating: 88 points.– Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2008
