Described as “the first ever crowd managed single malt”. Whisky lovers around the globe were given the chance to have influence over aspects of its production. These so-called “Cask Masters” came from 30 different countries and participated in the bottle design, the labelling, the photography, and the selection of the whisky. The result is a non-chill filtered expression which has received a finishing period in ex-Manzanilla casks. Aptly titled, “Taghta”, (Scott’s Gaelic for “Chosen”), it was limited to 12,000 bottles, originally only intended for those involved in the development process.
