Founded by Phil and Mike in 2005. Phil had been a very experienced home brewer and a long-serving CAMRA chairman, whilst Mike was a businessman and stables owner. In 2007, Guy joined the brewery and added Wagtail, Welland and Valley Mild – Mike left to run his pub. 2012, the brewery moved to new premises in Tiffield. By 2016, they had won over 40 awards. In 2017, the beer baton was handed over to Guy, who continues to produce award-winning ales on a regular basis.
