Gros Manseng is a Basque grape variety that is now making a name for itself in Gascony in Southwest France. This wine is crisp yet complex, overlaid with a gorgeous acacia/pink grapefruit bouquet. On the palate there are hints of greengage and grapefruit, with a touch of lime, and a superb long, rich finish. It is excellent as an aperitif or with poultry or fish. (2024 �12.5% abv)

Now at the forefront of single-varietal white wine-making in Gascony, the Baumann family estate was originally focused more on the production of Armagnac; although they still make a delicious range of Tenareze Armagnacs, this father, mother and daughter team has successfully diversified into crafting exceptional table wines. Their 75 ha estate is planted with a diverse mix of predominantly white grape varieties like Colombard, Gros Manseng, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Ugni Blanc. About 10% of the vineyards are planted with the red grapes of Tannat, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot.
