When winemaker Collette O’Leary approached us with an opportunity to work with Henners (one of the leading producers of quality English sparkling wine) and gain access to some limited-edition parcels of a vintage sparkling wine, we were intrigued. After trying the Foxearle, we were all in! It is a unique offering, showcasing the best grapes from their vineyards in the village of Herstmonceux in East Sussex, all harvested in the 2018 vintage. They only make vintage wines in the best years and it is certainly a cut above non-vintage bubbly â€?and better value than many vintage bottles from the other side of the English Channel. We think it is a great opportunity for us to champion a home-grown English wine which gives our European counterparts a run for their money!
