Produced from terroirs combining granite and rounded pebbles, this wine is born in a continental climate with Mediterranean influences, on well-exposed slopes sheltered from the mistral wind. Traditional vinification, with gentle maceration in concrete vats and ageing inBurgundybarrels of various ages, gives it complexity and structure. In the glass, its dark garnet colour heralds a warm nose of raspberry, Burlat cherry, oriental spices and eucalyptus. On the palate, the generosity of the 2018 vintage is reflected in dense tannins and a woody palette with aromas of red fruit, liquorice, smoke, spices and vanilla. A Hermitage with character, made for ageing.
