It’s well known that McLaren Vale makes great Shiraz, but less well known is that Vale Cabernet can also excel. With good harvesting decisions you can create a blend with lift and elegance but also with a rich full palate. Something we believe Hugh Hamilton have achieved with the Larrikin.

Tasting Notes

Succulent florals, fresh ground coffee, and fine cocoa combine with dried thyme, pepper, and cassia. There’s a flush of jersey caramel and milk chocolate that lends fullness to the palate while subtle supporting oak adds depth along with the fine textured tannin from the fruit.

Perfect with slow roast leg of lamb, rosemary garlic Hasselback potatoes… or both!
