Iglesia Vella Blanc, made from an old plot of Grenache Gris planted in 1954 on schist, offers a pure and energetic style thanks to vinification in used barrels without new wood or bâtonnage. It has a bright, light gold colour, with a nose combining minerality, notes of warm metal, almond, cashew nut and fruitiness ranging from peach to quince and pineapple. The palate is lively, elegant and balanced, carried by flavours of white fruits and citrus, with a finish reminiscent of garrigue and a touch of pepper. It is ideal with seafood, grilled fish, but also risottos, Asian dishes and fresh cheeses.
