Elgin is a unique region in South Africa’s Western Cape – the only one to be surrounded by mountains and officially the coolest, very rarely getting above 30°C during the height of the ripening season. The vines thrive in these conditions, having the perfect amount of stress to produce first-class grapes packed with flavour intensity and a broad spectrum of character. As a result, they are much sought-after, and this exclusive release combines super-crisp Sauvignon Blanc with a (very) old-vine parcel of Semillon.
