We’ve been working with the super-talented winemaker Jacques Theron for several harvests now, focusing on wonderfully fruit-forward wines crafted from top-class vineyards across the Cape. This multi-varietal red is expertly blended, combining black and red berry-filled Shiraz with dense, plummy Malbec, and a dash of dark, inky Touriga rounds everything off.

  • The hot, dry conditions of Swartland encourage lower yields of concentrated grapes, resulting in full-flavoured wines packed with character.
  • This is far from a common blend, however, it is one that really works, where each grape variety adds up to a wine more than the sum of its parts.
  • The harmonious fruit characters of this unique red make it especially suited to grilled meats and strong cheeses.
