Fresh & Lively Bourgogne Chardonnay

With its lovely pale yellow color and white highlights, this wine develops very fresh aromas of citrus and white-fleshed fruit with some floral and subtly smoky notes. It balances a vibrant, refreshing acidity with a silky suppleness on the palate, delivering a wonderfully mouthwatering finish.

• Average age of the vines: 25-45 years old.
• Aged 5 months in French oak ( 10% new)
• Minimal-intervention winemaking

Cellaring: Drink now to 2029Food Pairing: This Bourgogne Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, grilled sea bass, creamy mushroom risotto, or a platter of Comté and Gruyère cheeses. It also complements lighter fare like garlic prawns, lemon-butter scallops, or a classic Caesar salad | ?️ Serve at a temperature around 11-13ºC.

STORY BEHIND THE LABEL

Jean-Claude Boisset is a family-founded Burgundy winery established in 1961 in Nuits-Saint-Georges, France. Known for artisan, terroir-driven wines, it focuses on minimal-intervention winemaking using native yeasts and small-lot vinification. Today it forms part of the Boisset Collection, led by the second generation of the family.
