The sweetly scented bouquet is almost rum-like conjuring brown sugar, melted butter then later suggestions of crème caramel, vanilla, cocoa and white pepper. Impossible not to like. Lean, slightly astringent entry builds to a medium-dry, mildly peppery mid palate; finish is creamy with a burst of sweet spices (ginger bread, cinnamon). Concludes with hints of cocoa, dried fruits and white pepper lingering in the aftertaste. 40% Alc./Vol. Tasted from a 20ml sample.
